A message from Robert DeLong regarding this new SOTM:

This track was made in late November, when the gloom sort of settles over most of North America, and every building looks like a warehouse, even the Targets and Macy's.

I revisited this song in April, when the sun chases away our most cynical attitudes, and the late-night parties resume their relentless thumping.

This is warehouse music for the introspective extrovert (or the extrovert’s introspective music), or it’s not music at all, depending on your perspective. Either way, the track intentionally feels a bit insidious.
